Wow. That is so sad. As others have said, I hope the school is getting help and dealing with it. Was it a student to whom you were close? Any reasons? Any signs?
I have to admit, I could see many of my students being murdered, but none of them are the types to commit suicide, too full of themselves and bravado and all that. Strange how different environments, create different problems. I was just coming over here to get the link to your post about being board with your classes but I think I'll just link to your blog in my post now, and have to edit it!

I've been sitting here for a few minutes trembling at the thought and staring at the screen. I really can't think of anything more to say.

I am so sorry! I don't have any words. Just very sorry.
Oh Jesus, Meg. I am so sorry! What a selfish thing for someone to do- taking the easy way out instead of facing life and dealing with it head-on, then leaving everyone else behind to feel guilty.
